Style-wise the Holy Cow - with its Swiss chalet-like theme - might not be on the same level as other gourmet burger restaurants in Zurich. But what this place lacks in interior design it makes up with reasonable price tags and a very impressive, original and tasty selection of burgers: from beef (Elvis Blue Cheese) to chicken (Camembert & Cranberry) to vegetarian (Veggie Chèvre), you'll need some time to select one of the twenty-three freshly made burgers on the menu.
When it comes to drinks, you won't find any foreign big brand names (like Coke) here. Rather - consistent with the Swissness of the place - the drink of choice is their homemade Sirup, which even comes with free refills, a custom otherwise unheard of in Switzerland.
The place is often packed, mostly due its proximity to the University and their special deals for student card holders - but don't worry, the turnaround is fast and on a sunny day you can even enjoy your menu outside.
