Sticky Rice is honestly one of my top five favorite places to eat in DC. I haven't had everything on their menu, but have loved everything I've tried. My go-to dish that I order almost every time I go there is the Drawn and Buttered sushi roll. It's got crab, shrimp tempura, and cucumber with a side of butter and soy sauce. It's impossible not to like. They definitely have more than sushi there, so if you're not in the mood for that they have rice and noodle dishes as well.
If you're feeling fancy and want to try to make sushi yourself, Sticky Rice also has At Home Sushi Roll Kits. You get a box with all of the ingredients and supplies you need to make the rolls yourself. If you've never made sushi before and want to give it a try, this is a good way to get started.
Sticky Rice has two locations. The original is on H Street and is surrounded by a slew of other restaurants, bars, and event spaces. So if you are looking for a place to eat before going out, this is a place you have to visit.
