This place is a real gem, especially if you’re into vegan food. Hidden in the small streets that used to be Utrecht's red-light district, this small shop and café is a cozy place to recharge in the middle of the busy center. If the weather is nice, you can sit on the streetside, or you can take your snacks to go. If you choose to sit inside, make sure to have a look at all the art and local design that is featured.
Now, if there is one thing that you definitely must order, it is the vegan pastel de nata. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the most delicious (vegan) snack I’ve ever tasted, and sometimes I make a detour just to have one. Prices are also reasonable, and the staff is super friendly.
