Over the last few years, there has been a noticeable increase in Toronto-related products on the market. It's no longer just Toronto Blue Jay baseball caps- Toronto t-shirts, mugs, toques... you name it. They've all become hip. One of those on the forefront of the trend is Drake General Store.
Associated with the Drake Hotel across the street, the Drake General Store sells all kinds of products with a general local theme. Maybe a pin of hometown rapper Drake? A onesie covered in Canadian Mounties? T-shirts paying homage to the Toronto Public Library, or the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation? They have everything from clothes, to housewares, to food and drink. Most of it is local, making it a perfect spot to bring unique gifts home to your friends and family, and of course, for yourself- you're worth it!
The space itself is newly built and showcases the products beautifully. There's a little barber shop in the back and don't skip the second floor, where they keep all their on-sale products.
