There is a new establishment in the town of Thessaloniki, and to be more specific, in the corner of Mitropoleos and Komninon street. There is a new pizza place in town and it is called Mangiare Gastro Bar.
For those who don't know, Mangiare in Italian mean literally "to eat", and that's what you are going to do here. The team behind this restaurant pays a lot of attention to the quality of the ingredients, and they present something new to the people of Thessaloniki: they present them with authentic Neapolitan pizza!
They even have an open Italian oven inside the restaurant where you can check the pizzaiolos in action, throwing the pizza dough in the air and preparing it!
My favorite pizza here is the Diavola, since I am a fan of spicy food, but I even enjoy the simple but very richly flavored Marinara pizza, which is pizza dough, marinara sauce, garlic, and oregano. With this pizza, you can appreciate the flavored sauce!
Don't forget to check their signature cocktail list (the Kalyshee or the Drunken Rabbit being our favorite) and also their breakfast menu, with dishes like Breakfast Pizza to stand out from the rest of the menu!
