The first time I saw a Gelada-Shirt was on one of the handicrafts markets in the Teder Club a few years ago. I fell in love with their unique colourful graphic style. Gelada is an illustration and design studio based in Tel Aviv that has existed since 2010.
Their inspiration comes from destinations and themes from around the world. Gelada not only designs pretty cool t-shirts but also posters, graphic prints and stickers. Whether you prefer prints with the Space Monkeys, the Tour Méditerrannée, an Egyptian cat, the Iranian Football Association or the Russian version of Tel Aviv with the tower of the Kirya (Military Base in Tel Aviv), they all make unique souvenirs.
I love browsing through their shop near Hertzl Street and finding a new gem. Needless to say that we already have a few pieces we bought there in our household, my favourite being their traveler image with the red monkeys.
