Wherever you go in Tel Aviv, you will notice small square figures that seem to live on the walls all around. Adi Sened or “Sened” - as he signs every piece - is the “Father” of this little creatures called “Kufsonim” (Hebrew for mini-boxes).
While studying architecture, he developed the geometrical shapes already in 2000. In the beginning, he hand-painted them, now they are stencils and they interact often with their surroundings - many times in a humourous way. You will find a Santa Claus dragging weapons as toys in his bag, a version of the famous Banksy - a box-figure throwing a hello kitty-"flower", or Adam and Eve fighting over the apple.
You can find a whole bunch of the Kufsonim on the 7th floor of the Central Bus Station, but also all over Florentin on Washington Boulevard, Florentin Street, Ben Atar Street and others - also in the center of Tel Aviv around Rothschild and in Neve Tzedek.
