Free food for school children! This is one of the causes that the Praktika café serves. It is a working class café, a place that will make you feel at home and one that will provide you with clothes and books if you need them.
As if the pricing of the menu wasn't charitable enough, and by charitable I mean: 1 GEL for a cup of Turkish Coffee (yes, you read that right, just 1 GEL!), 6 GEL for a tasty chicken sandwich, 5 GEL for homemade lemonades with unique flavors and etc; the café also manages to make donations to provide school children with free food.
The area at first glance does not seem spacious, but it can fit a couple of dozen people in the main hall with music on, making you feel as if you’re visiting your best friend’s dining room. And there are other smaller halls if you want to work, read or play board games in peace and quiet. Every item on the menu has been carefully created with heart, every item luscious and endemic, as no dish can be found anywhere else made this way.
And ladies, just in case you’re in trouble and you’re in desperate need of a certain women’s hygiene product, Praktika has got you covered!
