Khan Chapan is located in the centre of Tashkent and in one of the best places a restaurant can be built in. There is a terrace and an indoors space. The most amazing aspect of Khan Chapan's terrace is the small but fast-moving river that passes through the restaurant. That's why there were a lot of business candidates to acquire this place, thus, for several years, the name of the restaurant changed a lot. I remember it was first "Ipak Yuli" and then another name, and then "Manas" and lastly "Khan Chapan."
I believe Khan Chapan deserves this place because the staff do their best to impress guests and to leave them with great memories. First of all, the food is delicious. I order "Besh Barmak" every time I visit Khan Chapan. Besh Barmak is a Kazakh traditional food consisting of meat and dough. They bring it in a wide dish called "lagan" and trust me you cannot eat it all by yourself. You need to come with your friends. It is very tasty and not that heavy to digest.
By the way, it is better to reserve a table before you visit Khan Chapan because you may not find one if you go in the evening.
