We wanted to have lunch with our colleagues and we were thinking where we could have a tasty lunch in a peaceful and elegant place. Somebody suggested AKSU which was in the centre of Tashkent. The restaurant is located on the second floor of shopping centre "Shedevr" and occupies the whole second floor. It is divided into several big rooms with different interiors, so people can choose where to sit. There is a kids' playground, too.
When I opened the menu, the first thing that grabbed my attention was AKSU by Chustiy. Bahriddin Chustiy is a very popular and successful chef who has a number of restaurants throughout Uzbekistan and the food he cooks is very delicious. Indeed, the menu was international - it included Uzbek, Turkish, Kazakh, Kirghiz, Uyghur, Japanese and European cuisine. It is such a pleasure for me to explore diverse menus in restaurants, compare the prices, read the ingredients and choose the best option for myself.
All the food we ordered was eaten quickly after they were placed on our table. Indeed, everything was tasty. AKSU became one of my favorite restaurants and I would like to visit it again to try some of the other dishes they offer.
