"I feel good good good in my neighborhood" I sing, when places like this open just 50 meters from my door. Burger Box opened in January 2014 and I wish them good luck and many years, as it is the best what could happen to this shabby and scrappy looking shed next to my house. Businesses for donuts and the Georgian bread by previous tenants failed, so Viva burgers!
The interior looks genuine and raw, a small waiting room is filled with self-made chairs and tables, the walls are decorated with some chaotic tags and posters, the music is punk and the dude at the desk might not be the most friendly in town, but that is my neighborhood and this place is hot right now.
Their menu is basic, mostly you can only get pulled pork burger, falafel, Kimchi fries and some warm soups. You may sit down and eat outside or inside entertaining yourself with staring at people passing by. I can eat their burgers for lunch every day. Burger Box is located at the beginning of Kalamaja, one of the most hip habitation areas in town.
