Some people call it the new Landmark of Stockholm, The brand new skyscraper in Hammarby Sjöstad. At 102 meters above ground, the bar and restaurant have a magnificent view of Stockholm. At ground level, there are a few designated elevators that will take you directly up to the venue. You'll be greeted by a friendly host and a grand view! The dining area is huge and also offers more quieter areas. There is a nice bar right by the entrance as well. For the lucky ones, you'll get a seat at the outdoor patio. There are still high glass walls to protect from strong winds, but the views are still as great. The menu is international, with a mix of fish, meats and vegetarian options. Treat yourself to a Swedish delicacy: char, smoky potatoes, fried capers and black cabbage. A true treat!
Brunch is served Sat-Sun and offers both Family Style dishes or larger plates for sharing. Of course, you can also get your individual course if you don't want to try other people's choices of food. There is also a kids play room during brunches.
Come to the Skybar when the sun sets to get a great view. In Sweden that can sometimes be hard as in summer the sun almost never sets. In June-July it does, around midnight but in Dec-Feb the sun sets at 15:00. :-) Come here for some nice cocktails before exploring the rest of Södermalm's food options. Enjoy!
