About me
I'm Piotrek. I live in Warsaw but I spend a lot of time abroad on business trips or city breaks in other European cities, and whenever I can on longer trips. As you can guess my hobby is travelling :-).
While travelling I like trying local cuisine, getting to know the place's culture and of course meeting locals.
Why Warsaw?
I love Warsaw because it has the feel of a young and dynamic city where old meets the modern. Where new places worth a visit are popping up all the time so you never get bored, even if you think you already know the city well.
Where can you find me online?

"Karmnik" Warsaw is my favourite Polish restaurant/bar in the Old Town. I like that it's more popular with locals than with tourists.

"Warszawa Wschodnia" is a 24/7 open trendy restaurant in Warsaw. I can definitely recommend lunch at this restaurant, which is very affordable.

"The Alchemist" Warsaw is a trendy pub located in the modern Metropolitan building. I love their beer wall which works like a self service beer on tap!

"Park Skaryszewski" one of the larges parks in Warsaw and a historic one with a local feel. I especially like taking a stroll on its northern bank.

"Kicia Kocia" Warsaw is a favourite cafe bar in my neighbourhood. They have an "alcohol library" as a menu. I love that they promote local beverages.

"POLIN Museum" Warsaw (Museum of History of Polish Jews) is housed in an outstanding building. Its is unlike many other Jewish museums around the world.

The "Markiewicza Viaduct" is my favorite way to get to central Warsaw - it runs in a loop; regular traffic is not allowed here... oh, and the architecture!
