About me

I'm a consultant within renewables, born and raised in Bulgaria, but matured both professionally and personally in Denmark. I've lived here for 15 years, with over 5 of those spent in Copenhagen, and I can wholeheartedly admit that the Danish culture and state of mind have taken over me (which earned me a passport in the process). I love exploring spots with a unique vibe wherever I go, especially in Copenhagen. When I'm not trying to unearth hidden gems around me, I strive to be physically active, either through training, walking/cycling around the city, or hanging out with a bunch of amazing people I'm lucky to call friends. I love getting outside my comfort zone and experiencing places and cultures outside the spectrum of the familiar, either through hiking in the Himalayas, roaming around Patagonia, or strolling through the vastness of Seoul.

Why Copenhagen?

I feel that Copenhagen uniquely blends the diversity of opportunities in a large city with an uncharacteristically cozy vibe at almost every corner. As long as the weather allows it, Copenhagen offers endless outdoor hangout spots. And when the weather is uninviting, there is an array of "hygge" activities indoors. Although a wide variety of activities are offered in many European cities, what sets Copenhagen apart is the unmatched positive energy of the people around it. This makes you feel at ease everywhere you go, which is essential for feeling at home somewhere, even without spending too long there.
