Why Amsterdam
As a person who grew up in a small village, I have always thought that Amsterdam is somehow a city of small villages. People are friendly and social and every place in the city has a small "city centre." It feels like when you move around for a bit you enter a new village every so often. Wherever you walk alone, you never feel alone. You can be and do whatever you want, and everyone accepts that! That is why I love Amsterdam.
