"Leipomo K. E. Avikainen" (est. 1950) is one of the few remaining traditional Helsinki bakeries. They also sell Karelian pies, which makes me happy!

"Orion" is one of my favorite places not only in Helsinki, but on Earth! I just love watching films from the balcony at this cinema. For enthusiasts!

"Bar Favela" is a great addition to Helsinki's nightlife. They're not only a bar w/ awesome cocktails - their food (like the 'bean bread') is amazing, too!

"Ekberg" is the oldest bakery, patisserie and café not only in Helsinki, but the whole of Findland. My sister and I go there on our birthday mornings.

"Talvipuutarha" (or 'winter garden') in Helsinki is a big greenhouse garden with three rooms. It's 120 years old and super cute, even for picnics!

The combination of a cool but cosy interior, great selection and charity work makes "Ipi Kulmakuppila" one of my favorite cafes of Helsinki!

Tove Jansson, creator of the beloved Moomin trolls, still doesn't have an official statue in Helsinki, if you exclude the ones from before she was famous.

"Wanha Kaarle" is definitely one of of my favorite shop windows in Helsinki's Kallio, or maybe in the whole city! This shop really isn't easy to miss...
