About me
I'm an English teacher and freelance writer, passionate about travel, reading, photography and coffee! You'll often find me checking out new cafés in my city.
Why Montreal
What I love about Montreal is the diversity. There are people from all over the world who live here, allowing for the opportunity to learn from and about a variety of cultures. I also love all of the festivals here in the summer.
"Nonnina Panini and Gelato" in Montreal is a café that offers Italian snacks & desserts - get your chocolate & peanut butter tartelette and explore Lachine!

"Pain Azer" is an Iranian bakery in Montreal that's bringing life back to Notre-Dame! It's the only place in the area that serves fresh Turkish coffee...
by
"St-Ambroise" is a micro-brewery in Montreal with unusual flavors like oatmeal stout, pumpkin ale, and apricot wheat ale! I like the size of the terasse...
by
"The Tree of Life" is a sculpture made out of a 150-year-old walnut tree for the 1967 Expo. Now it's inside metro station Lionel Groulx. I love it...
by
"Les Affamés" Montreal is a bistro that's not often found in guidebooks but is popular with locals for weekend brunch. Perfectly French/Belgian-inspired!
by
"The Redpath Museum" in Montreal is a natural history museum in the main campus of McGill University with archaeological artifacts from around the world!
by
"Fleming Mill" in Montreal is quite a unique sight in our city. In other countries mills might be normal; not so here, where it's a historical monument...
by
"Rockaberry" in Montreal is a local pie place I always take my friends who're visiting. It's known for cutting huge slabs, too much for only one person!
