About me
Brazilian born and raised, I came to Vancouver on vacation and decided then that this was the place I wanted to be. I moved here a couple of years later, and this has been my home now since 2010. I work for a software company, play volleyball and have taken up gymnastics again.
When I’m not at work, I am out exploring this beautiful city with my dogs, scavenger hunting through my favorite thrift shops, wandering through Granville Island market or Main street. In the summertime, I like to be outside as much as possible, mostly riding my bike, hiking, or just having a relaxing day on the beach. It’s impossible to not be my usual happy, confident self in such a blessed environment.
Why Vancouver
What makes Vancouver such a special place is how the beautiful scenery blends in with the diversity of its people. It is amazing how much this city has transformed me. From snowboarding on the North Shore to hiking up a 15km mountain for a camping trip, there really are no limits to what this city has to offer. Add that to the endless options of delicious cuisine from all over the world, festivals all year round, and the overall friendliness of our people… what’s not to love about a place like this?
