About me
Aigli Andritsopoulou lives and works in Athens, Greece. She studied Political Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Cultural Management at Goldsmiths, University of London. She is a professional in the field of arts management, digital media and a photographer. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of Ferocious Urbanites, the online platform for recording, analyzing and promoting contemporary cultural production in Athens.
Why Athens?
Athens is a city of great historical and cultural importance, within which a creative community is developing, as contemporary art galleries, design studios, alternative food markets, vintage shops, music venues, performance spaces, cafes and restaurants are popping up like mushrooms after a rain shower.
However, what I really love about Athens is that, day by day, it turns into an artistic battleground of social change. Its amazing contradictions are what make this city unique.
