Made in Blue is a popular place for meetings and good food in Sofia. It has the same owners as the popular Made in Home restaurant. It is situated in 2-floored old house with a beautiful yard and should definitely be on your "Must see" list.
Don't worry, you can't miss it when you look for it - the whole house is painted in blue. It is an old building, which makes it so impressive. The exterior is artsy and retro. In every room there is a treasure to be found: herbarium collection, plier wall decoration, old record player...
Even if you decide to sit in the beautiful garden, take a walk inside the house.
If you are looking for pizza, pasta or traditional meals, you are at the wrong place. Made in Blue surprises with its different and innovative menu: hummus with veal and tripe, veal tongue with teriyaki and radishes, curry mussels with coconut, salad with cherries, sheep cheese and corn bread...
I won't tell you more, go and see for yourself.
The prices are a bit high and keep in mind that the place gets very busy after work hours or at weekends, so it is better to book a table before you go.
