Elephant Bookstore is a popular place for English books and cool gifts on my favourite Tsar Shishman street. It is one of these places where you can spend so much time without even looking for something specific. The atmosphere is cosy and the staff is always very kind.
Elephant Bookstore is the preferred place for foreigner book lovers because it has an excellent range of books - from classic novels to comics and photo books. You can also find a collection of old magazines here.
And what are these cool gifts?
Well, a pocket tin speaker, minions and Star Wars USB sticks, pin map of the world, public toilet survival, Sigmund Freud candy sweets in a book box, limited edition teapots...
My favourite things are the enamel mugs and bowls with illustrations from famous fairy tales or with images of famous movie characters, the big collection of postcards and metal signs with funny quotes and sayings.
After visiting Elephant Bookstore I recommend you check Gelateria Naturale - the best natural ice-cream spot in the city, which is on the same street. (Check the Gelateria Naturale article.)
