One of the traditions in Skopje is to take a bite after a "rough" night out. Usually around 04:00 - 05:00, everybody's leaving the clubs and heading towards one of the few open bakeries, to grab some fresh baked pastry and yoghurt. It eases the hangover the next day. Proven.
One of the most popular bakeries is called La Delicious. It's fairly near to the city center and the park, so no matter where you were clubbing, you can easily reach it. Don't expect to be presented with a great choice of various pastries. After all, people are very hungry at this hour and most of the food is sold hot, straight from the oven, although, you will find all of the Macedonian specialties.
Three most favorite things to eat are Burek, Pizza Banichka and Pastry with cheese and olives, with sour yoghurt of course. The meal is pretty greasy, but it does wonders to your belly after all the drinks you've put into it. There will be a line for orders, but the staff is pretty quick so you won't wait long. Unfortunately, there isn't much space inside the bakery, so you'll probably have to eat outside, watching the sunrise while sited on the surrounding benches.
