What if I told you that you could enjoy happy hour while sitting in an adirondack chair and taking in the view of Lake Union? How about a view of seaplanes taking off and motorboats out for a spin? That's all possible at Westward- a seafood-centered restaurant near Wallingford.
When the weather starts to shift, I'll take my food inside to the nautical-themed interior. (Or you can just tough out the cold as the fire pit provides quite a bit of heat.)
I like happy hour prices, especially oyster happy hour prices. The oysters here are briny- just the way I like them. I also like the watermelon and feta salad, spot prawns, and lox.
Seattle is the beautiful city that it is, because of all the surrounding water. Westward takes advantage of its prime location on Lake Union. In fact, they even have a docking station so that boaters can stop by for a snack, before going back on their merry way. After filling up on oysters and cocktails, you can take a walk on the nearby Burke Gilman trail afterwards.
