Tutta Bella is one of the first places that crosses my mind when I can't decide where to eat. Their family-friendly atmosphere, excellent service, and reasonable prices are just a few of the reasons why it's so popular.
I love their weekday happy hour (15:00 - 18:00) - 6 bucks for a small pizza and discounted wine and beer offerings. I recommend a mini margherita pie and a glass of lambrusco. It's also a great time to go if you want to avoid crowds and the wait for a table. If the weather is nice, I'll sit on the outdoor patio, but the inside is cozy and welcoming.
I'm not a huge salad fan normally, but Tutta Bella's Mista salad has an addicting combo of lettuce, smashed white beans, grated carrots, olives, and other delicious goodness drizzled in a tasty vinaigrette. This is how I start my meal here. When it comes to the pizza, I have to say, their pizzas do justice to Neapolitan pizzas in Campania, Italy. Their wood-fired oven cooks the pizzas just right, and the buffalo mozzarella is good quality. They always offer special seasonal pizzas- featuring toppings like butternut squash, figs, or kale depending on what time of the year it is. One of my regular choices is the Bianca (white pizza). I don't know their secret, but I wish I could have the recipe.
They just installed an attractive new bar that I've yet to check out. As if I needed an excuse to return.
