Sarajevo is a city surrounded by hills, so it has many high viewpoints over the city.
Zmajevac is one of my favourite because it is the place where even my grandparents used to meet.
It's very popular and always full of people sunbathing their minds.
It's a hill spot but there's also quite a cute restaurant there that makes you enjoy the view even more. The restaurant is on that exact spot so there's no way you can miss it. You can have coffee or tea there, as well as take a bite.
Whatever you choose to do it feels like home. You will really, truly enjoy it. Especially the view. You can see other hills and mountains that surround Sarajevo like Trebević, Igman and Bjelašnica.
You can walk - what I usually do, or take a bus or cab to get there from the old part of the city.
If you take a walk you will take streets that lead back to Baščaršija. The walk downhill is such a fun walk.
You can stay a bit longer to see the sunset and maybe even catch the sun in your hands.
It would be a pity to miss this spot, believe me.
