My country is well-known for its various pies as the main part of its traditional cuisine.
There is no-one, but no-one, who's never tasted traditional pie, local or tourist, and that is totally understandable.
I mean, life without a Bosnian pie? No way!
Since pie is like the air in Bosnia, there are so many places to have it, but the quality differs.
My favourite one, and without doubt, the best one in the city, is at Pie house "Bosna“.
This place makes me feel so much at home... Here, the pies taste like the ones my grandma and my mom make (I don't mention mine so as not to sound like I'm bragging :- ) ).
I've been a regular since childhood and my hips are proof!
The owner is one pleasant guy that greets people around and loves football club "Sarajevo“ and basketball club "Bosna“. He even has photos of the players inside the place, and one big basket with a ball on the wall. May I mention that those are my clubs too? :-)
So, if in Sarajevo, don't deny yourself this tasty treat, your belly will be grateful.
Life is too short to be a model, enjoy the pie :-)
