I have a weakness for architecture and design books that are as beautifully created and constructed as the subjects they cover. William Stout is a must-stop for serious architecture and design fans. This is the place to come when you need a real choice of books on Calatrava or Ando and you are not ready to shell out $150 for a book online you haven't even seen. More importantly, you will likely find eight other amazing books you never knew you needed. The upper floor is architecture by style and era as well as individual monographs. Downstairs is dedicated to design, interiors, landscaping and many other relevant subjects.
While there are lots of interesting options for the casual browser, this store is a candy store for the serious fan of building porn. I have bought here many of my favorite books, that I never knew I needed, until I wandered in and they hooked me. Bring a curious mind and remember they will ship anywhere.
