Trsatski Park/Park Heroja Rijeka
A quiet getaway
Trsatski park,originally named Park Heroja, is a beautiful park located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Rijeka, named Trsat. The park has two entrances, one on the north and one on the south. If you go το Trsat by city bus, I recommend the entrance on the north side. If you go by car, there is also parking in front of the north entrance.
In the park, you will find professional athletes and recreational runners. You will also surely meet dog lovers as they play ball with their furry friends. For children, there is a playground that will put a smile on their faces. Of course, the park also has sections where you can simply enjoy the silence and breathe in the clean, fresh air.
I recommend visiting this park after you have visited all the major attractions in this part of Rijeka named Trsat.
Make sure you bring delicious food and do not worry about water. There is a tap with clean, cold water.
Winter or summer, on a sunny day this is the place you have to be.
