Square in the centre of Rijeka
Espresso, macchiato or maybe green or herbal tea -- you can find everything in Pavlinski square and feel like a local, sitting and taking a break from your work.
If you want to hang out in the center of the city, this is the perfect spot. Here you can find two coffee shops in which locals come before or in the middle of their working hours to chill a bit and than go back to their offices again. I recommend the morning hours for visiting the square and experience it at its best.
It is one street and corner away from the noise of Korzo, the main street in Rijeka, so you can easily reach it and give your ears and feet some rest. It is also perfect for children, because there is a little playground where they can play while you are enjoying the vibes of Rijeka.
The relaxing sound of jiggling cups will give you the authentic Balkan way of spending time at the locals' favourite place for socializing.
