BBQ You Shouldn't Pass Up
I had considered MUNCH as my own hidden gem, as it was just a five minutes walk from my house and, from afar, it was hard to tell that a BBQ joint was hidden away in this seemingly inconspicuous little building. Apartment complexes dominated the landscape, and few would think that such a restaurant would be nestled away amongst them. But I knew, and, funds permitting, enjoyed taking a beer and sitting down on their outdoor patio with a pulled pork burger and some dirty fries.
I only recently discovered their change of location, now hosting their venue in the city center. I was saddened that now MUNCH wouldn't be all mine to sing praises about, but, knowing just how hard they work, and how pleasant the staff has been, I am truly jovial that this eatery has gotten a spot that they deserve and, hopefully, will receive much more traffic than they could ever get in the Purvciems district. One of the things I stand for it is the promotion of well-deserved culinary talent, and MUNCH BBQ certainly earns my seal of approval for fantastic food.
