The favorite walking and cycling pedestrianized street in a multiform locality Troja. Besides the embassies, famous villas, a well-known zoo and a botanical garden, close to these addresses you can find another treasure: a relaxing place along the Vltava river.
I like to hang out here with my friends and just have fun. The slow river flow, the green area and the view of the swimming swans are so calming! Either sitting on the grass, on a bench or nearby on the bank of the water canal observing what's happening around. The highlight is the wild water canoe club - here's the spot for training and canoe slalom championships. Don't be surprised if wet canoeists with their boats on their shoulders cross the street just a few steps in front of you. The sign: the passing canoeists warn you to be careful of them. No crash.
The track is rich with interesting discoveries. In the late afternoon, you can see sport fishermen standing in the river or some rare individuals helping rescue fish from an empty water canal. Only 600 meters away from Vodácká street there is a baseball field in the direction of tram station Trojská. I have been lucky several times to just see a sports match just by walking around.
Another option to spend more pleasant moments is to cross the bridge Trojská lávka to visit the city park Stromovka, Prague's Hyde Park, on the opposite side.
