While coming back to the city centre from Prague Castle by Nerudova street, almost in the middle of Nerudova, look right, and you will find a lot of lovely colourful mugs next to the entrance and a sign Kafe a hrnky (coffee and mugs) above it.
This hidden garden with a huge and truly breathtaking courtyard is very unexpected in Nerudova Street, a busy and crowded part of the city. You have to go down a few stairs, and after a while, you will find a pretty big coffee place with a nice offer of sweets, snacks and a selection of breakfast and brunch.
And why mugs? This place is also a pottery studio where you can book your own painting on pottery. You can choose from a mug, little plates, tiny figures or tiles. you don't have to book your painting section in advance, but If you want to be sure to get a slot, you can contact them at this address in advance: keramika@kafeahrnky.cz. In 5 days, your art piece is ready, but it is mostly ready in a shorter time. An extra quick service is also available if you don't have time to wait.
