Let's talk about happy hour and cocktails. Who doesn't love them?
See, the thing is that happy hour is not as big in Prague as in other cities I've been to. I'm not very sure why that is, but unless you walk into one of the tourist trap bars in the Old town, you won't see that many places having happy hour "on the menu".
Luckily, there is a great place to satisfy your 5 p.m margarita needs. Take a tram n. 9 and get of at Husinecká station. Ananas Bananas, also called the A&B for short is a true Žižkov gem. Me and my classmates have spent quite a few late afternoons here. The bar opens at 4 p.m. and they serve cocktails for 77,- kč till 8 p.m. (that's probably the cheapest price for a cocktail you can get in Prague, hence why it's a student favorite). If you don't mind the colorful lighting in the afternoon, you definitely should consider coming here for a drink. They have the biggest selection of cocktails I've ever seen; from classic Old Fashioned to frozen Margaritas and local specials, there is something for everybody and I've never been disappointed.
If you're feeling brave, you're welcome to try something from the "Czech spirit" section, like Be-ton (Becherovka and tonic). My personal favorite is a classic Margarita or a "Suffering Bastard" (if I'm feeling extra).
