Czech Republic may be in the heart of Europe but there are many restaurants here that serve food from other continents and are surprisingly good at it. Agave is one of them: this is another Mexican restaurant in the centre of Prague and it's definitely worth the visit.
If you're searching for a real Mexican, this not may be your cup of tea, because Agave does modern fine fusion cuisine - and if you check their menu, you will understand. Have you ever tried a fried avocado? And what about goat cheese quesadilla? And do you know what happens if you mix Mexico and Czech Republic? Beef heart steak! Definitely worth it, and there's more, including traditional churros.
For me personally, the winner is the fried avocado and their cocktails. The bartenders make lovely margaritas, they have a nice selection of tequilas and there are some pretty crazy cocktails too. My favourite is Sisa, which is vodka and strawberry puree and raspberry puree and lemon and habanero. Hot as hell. They serve a nice selection of wines from the whole world, and of course there are some local wines too. And during warm days, you can enjoy your food and drinks at the small outside seating.
Last but not least, the interior of Agave is pretty interesting too. For example: I have actually never ever seen a big mural of a naked woman with her butt all over the wall, and it doesn't even feel weird here!
