One day last summer, me and my wife decided to visit downtown Porto to have dinner. We went to a restaurant in Candido dos Reis street, one of the streets in Porto people visit during the night. The name of the restaurant was Tapas na Boca and it looked new, very clean and modern. My wife loves eating tapas and she invited me to dinner here.
We sat on the terrace outside with the prospect to feel the nightlife of Porto during our dinner. The meaning of tapas requires you to be prepared to taste different things, sometimes in a gourmet style. The waiter was very nice, and to start our meal, we requested him three different dishes. The first one was patatas bravas, a dish from Spain. It typically consists of white potatoes fried in oil and served warm with a sauce. The second dish was chicken with shrimps, and the third was scrambled eggs. All of them were accompanied by beer. Then we last ordered the codfish with honey and I really appreciated that one, it was my favourite. Absolutely delicious!
We love this restaurant, but the best came in the end. The dessert was passion fruit pie. It was amazing.
