Looking for an amazing brunch or a quiet place to have a good tea and read a book? I know a perfect spot, with a 'must try' brunch menu and a serene atmosphere. I'm absolutely addicted to the Rosa et Al cafeteria, discretely located downtown in the trendy artsy quartier. This place is not only a beautiful B&B meaning 'bed & brunch', with 6 very well decorated rooms, but also has a cosy vintage looking cafeteria from the fifties with a small, peaceful garden.
To me, this place is the perfect place to start a lazy Saturday or Sunday. Typically I try to gather around a table filled with its delicious food with 2 or 3 friends, no more, as the place is so peaceful that it is not worth breaking the vibe with a large group of friends, speaking loud (well, we are Portuguese so it kind of runs in our veins). Usually I go for one of the fresh juices and the 'Arlington egg', absolutely delicious with smoked salmon and hopefully afterwards I pray that someone feels like sharing an amazing (but quite big) pancake.
With sunny weekends, indulge the quiet garden, a true slice of heaven in the middle of the city!
The magic of this place is that I always feel so welcome and at home every time I'm there. For sure it is worth a visit. Remember, only on weekends!
