Warhol cafe bar is one of the oldest bars in the City Kvart area and has been there since the inception of the area. Even though nowadays you can find dozens of bars in its vicinity, for me personally this bar has always been the first choice for my morning coffee or tea.
What separates Warhol from places like it nearby is its unique setting and vibe, most notably because of the pop art paraphernalia which decorate the walls of the bar. There used to be a lot of iconic Andy Warhol paintings hanging on the wall, which are now substituted with a more minimalist and subtle design. The coffee is great, as well as the staff, who are very hospitable and talkative.
Since it is located next to the student dormitories, most of the visitors are students, who are going on and on about the difficulties of their university lives.
As I, too, used to be a resident of the nearby dormitory, this bar would be one of my main spots for relaxation after hours of studying. Warhol often has live music during evenings, so if you find yourself in this area of Podgorica, check it out!
