Cineplexx Podgorica
Best cinema in Montenegro
Cineplexx is the most modern and most well-equipped cinema in Montenegro, as it boasts 6 movie halls which can accommodate up to 308 people at once. Even though the quality of the screen and surround system is not up to IMAX standards, Cineplexx still offers both 2D and 3D movies in great quality. Happily, this cinema is up-to-date with all the newest movies, and it holds movie premiers often, both for domestic and international scores.
There is a wide variety of snacks too, besides the usual popcorn, you can enjoy nachos with many delicious toppings. The biggest downside of this cinema unfortunately are the prices, as they are a bit expensive for the Montenegrin standard, and the fact that there is no competition. But, regular events and discounts (on Tuesdays) are available, so visit their site or Facebook page regularly for updates.
For me personally, the most interesting event I attended was the premiere of the 7th installment of the Star Wars saga, which has drown hundreds of movie goers, even though the start of the projection was at midnight. And not to forget, that was my first encounter with 3D technology.
So, if you want to watch recently released movies in great quality, hop on to Delta City shopping mall and Cineplexx cinema!
