With huge windows opening up to the corner of Astoria Blvd and 14th street, Astoria Provisions is a sunny little bistro and my new favorite brunch spot. The location is perfectly equidistant to the NW train line and the Astoria waterfront, where you can catch the East River Ferry. If you are planning to spend the day exploring Astoria, this is the perfect place to start your day.
Astoria Provisions serves breakfast all day, with classics like eggs Benedict, avocado toast, and French toast. For those who are ready to move on to heartier meals, Astoria Provisions also offers a selection of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and even Mexican specialties. All their baking is done in-house, which ensures fresh bread and delicious baked goods arranged temptingly on the coffee bar. I always make sure to order the fresh-squeezed orange juice, which is squeezed from an enormous orange juice machine!
What I love about this place is not just the amazing food, but the local feeling. Even though Astoria Provisions is relatively new to the neighborhood, they have found their niche with great personalized service, an excellent menu, and a bright and cozy atmosphere.
