Ruffini Munich
Art and coffee
It's Saturday, 10:00, people standing in line, waiting to get in. Five minutes later Ruffini opens its doors. Three minutes later most of the round, marbled Bistro tables are occupied by caffeine and breakfast-addicted customers.
Ruffini is an idea. It was started by a cooperation of eight people in 1978. They wanted to create a place in the style of an Italian Cantina. Today 25 proprietors run this business. But the customer doesn't notice anything that might suggest that so many people are involved. The atmosphere is relaxing and low-key, with spots of colors in the form of art objects and paintings. The staff is very fast. The breakfast really good, especially the fresh baked Croissant.
In summer I recommend the rooftop terrace. It spreads a little bit of Italian flair.
There is nothing to claim, but the only con is the distance to where I live. Otherwise I would have my breakfast more often at Ruffinis.
My Conclusion: veni, vidi, ruffini.
