The plants and flowers market of Cuemanco in Mexico City is an incredible place. It does not matter if you are a tourist and are not really looking to buy anything. Once you are inside, you are hypnotized by the extensive range of colors.
While in one part of the market you can find bonsais and trees of fortune, in others you will discover medicinal plants and all kinds of cacti.
Something I love about this spot is that the sellers are true experts in plants and will guide you not only to choose the one that will suit your space best, but they will also share how to take care of it and how to use maintenance products, such as fertilizer and vitamins so that your plant can remain shiny and healthy for a long time.
It is worth going early (09:00 - 10:00), with enough time and comfortable clothes. It is a huge market and every time I visit it, I always marvel at all the variety of plants that are on offer. Without a doubt it is a place that shows a great part of the natural wealth of our country. If you are really a plant lover you will love the plants and flowers market of Cuemanco in Mexico City.
