I’m not a foodie, but if a place serves really good food, I can travel a bit to get it. This place is definitely off the beaten track. My friend found it by coincidence while going for long walks with his newborn daughter during his paternity leave. This particular food truck is not mobile, as it’s permanently parked in an industrial area in south Malmö but the bike ride is more than worth it.
However, let me get to the good stuff. I will start with the fact that they grill the buns as well. Just that should tell you that these guys take burgers seriously. You have seven options to choose from, plus one daily special. For now, I have only tried two of their burgers and the one called Jägare was by far one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. What I also need to stress is, that this burger contains many ingredients that separately I don’t like and would never eat, like chanterelle mushrooms. But these guys have made a combination that I could not resist and devoured the burger in record time.
The only warning is that you have to plan your trip there well. They are only open from 11 till 13:30, there is always a queue and the later you come, you’re risking that some burgers might not be available anymore. Obviously, I am already planning a few more visits there to go through the whole menu.
