LA Historic Park is a beautiful open space with the best view of DTLA. I love coming here to walk, get inspired, and see the city of angels on the horizon. It's one of my Top 10 Parks in LA.
On any ordinary day, you could walk the trails, have a picnic, or ride a bike. I love to bring my family and friends here to picnic and let our kids play. My son can ride his scooter while I exercise behind him. It's a nice park with clean restrooms.
It's a unique location on the industrial side of town. It's located off Spring St. (just a mile from the city center). The best part about it, is that sometimes, the train run alongside it. I love hearing the deep whistles of a Union Pacific liner.
Often, amazing events are hosted here. LA Historic Park has been home to many a concerts, film screenings, art shows, and festivals. Just last year I went to a mindful meditation festival here, and it was amazing. I love all the different events. See what's on the calendar here.
LA Historic Park is an inspiring landscape in the city. I highly recommend coming here any time of the day. The park operates from sunrise to sunset. The views of downtown Los Angeles are gorgeous. Especially during the sunset.
