Yaroslaviv Val (Ярославів Вал) is located near Zoloti Vorota metro station and is one of the prettiest spots in Kyiv and one of those with the most ambience. Here you can feel the real mood of a big city and get inspired just by walking around. There's a lot of different unique old buildings, modern cafes and hipster coffee houses, as well as fancy boutiques and hotels located on Yaroslaviv Val which is well-known as a district with embassies of different countries. You can meet both locals and foreigners here and walk to the city center or to the down town.
I like Yaroslaviv Val because of its spirit. The way how old and modern Kyiv meet and mix here is really marvelous. The street is always full of people – even at night you will never feel lonely and can always meet locals to spend a couple of hours before your flight or one of those loud parties in the city center.
