TramBar is located in Pasaż Bielaka, a passage between the Main Square and Stolarska Street, famous amongst locals for its nightlife. Even though it’s right in the very center of the old town, it is not so easy to find. I swear, I’ve lived in Krakow for 26 years, been going to Pasaż for 8, and I still have to stop myself sometimes to figure out which gate is the right one. You can find TramBar at the end of the passage on the left coming from the main square or choose the entrance from Stolarska Street.
If you’ve ever been to Krakow, you know it’s all about the trams. TramBar knows and pays tribute to this staple of the city with its décor. You will seat on retro wooden tram seats with many different tram memorabilia around you. There are also two seats in bay windows if you fancy doing some people-watching. Stolarska Street hosts several embassies, a convent, and quite a lot of bars, so it gets interesting!
Skilled mixologists will prepare you any drink your heart desires, but what to have there as the cold days are upon us? Try some cinnamon liqueur – you can have it as a shot or ask a bartender to add some to your tea (forget pumpkin spice latte, it’s like autumn in a cup). I also highly recommend the cocktails served hot. How about a whiskey-burnt butter-apple-cloves-cinnamon delight?
