With Poland being famous for dairy-based food, I could bet we're really good at making ice-cream. We are indeed, but there's a nation, which name starts with I, that's even better at it. And this time I don't mean Italians. Iranians running Tiffany, a teeny-tiny place on Plac Szczepański, have absolutely redefined ice-cream for me.
I love going there to try these unusual Persian flavours they make. Ever tried saffron ice-cream? This is the place to go for it. The taste is unlike anything else. I always keep coming back for that one and try to combine it with different ones. If I am to mention just a few, my favourites include rose, pistachio and sunflower. If you're more conservative, in that case Tiffany has something for you as well. They use top quality ingredients only, so even their regular dairy ice cream tastes divine, as well as the chocolate, coffee-flavoured and the really unique ones.
During the warmer months, Tiffany is one of my most frequent stops while strolling in the Old Town. I really can't recommend it enough!
