The localization & interior
The cafe is located in the Hausmann arcade - a place so peaceful, you can forget that you're just two minutes away from Main Square. It's worth visiting especially from spring to autumn when the weather is warm enough to sit on the patio. But don't hesitate to walk in even during colder days - the interior is quite small but amicable.
What can you order?
This place will definitely satisfy those of you who admire quality bread and pastries. The menu is simple, yet well-thought-out. Fornir uses local, fresh ingredients (from Stary Kleparz marketplace) to make their dishes. If you're craving something salty, you can order their signature sandwiches which are a new interpretation of polish traditional tastes. Besides, they specialize in sweet baked goods - their yeast dough (in any form) is a must-try.
Coffee & drinks
You can try specialty coffee delivered from a local Karma roastery. I recommend ordering it with a small whipped cream tube (shown in the photo), as it costs just 1 zł when bought with a cup of coffee.
You can also choose a glass of natural vine from Naturaliści or a cocktail. Since this summer, Fornir has extended its drink menu. For winter, the staff has prepared warming-up compositions, such as Martini Rosso with coffee and rosemary or hot Choya vine. That's another argument for visiting Fornir also during the colder seasons.
