Sometimes you just need to grab a coffee from a place nearby, instead of waiting for an hour before you get one in the cafe located in the heart of the city. It's even more convenient when you can grab a fresh croissant or just have breakfast at the same time.
You can have it both in Czyżyk cafe, which is a local spot for those who're staying a bit further from the city center (Nowa Huta or Czyżyny area). There are only a few tables inside, but it somehow makes this small spot cozy. You can feel the neighborly atmosphere from the very first step. Thanks to the friendly staff, you can feel the positive energy of the place. Plus - they're aware of the food they're selling - if you're allergic, you're in good hands.
Besides a tasty coffee, you can buy something sweet (or savory - like quiche) or order it in advance. That's because they create fancy & high-quality cakes as Ciastki & Co. (also vegan, gluten & sugar-free).
There are also three types of breakfast (based on bread or croissants), various sandwiches, burgers, and bagels. For those, who would be passing by a bit later, the cafe prepared tasty lunch options (that change each day).
