Ipi Kulmakuppila is the latest addition to the cafés surrounding Karhupuisto. Even if it is a newcomer compared to the others, it immediately became one of my favorites!
Ipi Kulmakuppila looks really cool with its white and wooden interior and big windows, but it manages to keep the place more cosy rather than too trendy, the café feels welcoming and makes you want to stay for another cup of coffee.
In addition to the nice atmosphere, Ipi has an amazing selection of home-made pastries, and they're also serving breakfast and lunch. On Saturdays they have a nice, home-made brunch with a weekly-changing, mostly vegetarian menu. In addition to all this they also have a good agenda: they are hiring disabled people to work in the café.
The café serves also beers from small breweries and has occasional concerts and gigs, so it's also a nice place to spend early evenings.
The combination of a cool but cosy interior, great selection and charity work makes Ipi one of my favorite cafés and a great addition to the café scene of Helsinki!
