Close to the canal Kaiser-Friedrich-Ufer, the Fasan is a cherished local pub that has been serving the community for over 45 years. With its rustic wooden interiors, leather benches and vintage decor, it exudes a cozy, unpretentious and welcoming atmosphere.
During the summer months, Fasan's spacious outdoor terrace becomes a lively beer garden. It's the perfect place to enjoy a cold beer on tap or an Alsterwasser ('Alsterwater', which is how we call a beer mixed with Sprite in Hamburg) while soaking up the sun. No worries – if you're not a beer fan like me, they do serve other drinks as well.
Fasan is also a popular spot for soccer enthusiasts. The pub broadcasts all major soccer matches and also some other sports events both inside and outdoors.
Whether you're planning to watch a game with friends or simply relax with a drink or some comfort food like burgers or fries in an easygoing, friendly setting, this pub is the perfect place for it.
